H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) the international Swedish retail giant and their head of design Margareta van den Bosch have teamed up with Madonna to create a line of clothing and accessories that are scheduled to arrive in all stores carrying the women’s wear collection, around the world in March 2007. Madonna has always been a cultural icon influencing on how people dress and look. The new “M by Madonna” fashion line represents her own personal and modern spin on her very own wardrobe. It includes glamorous tops, street-cool lumber jackets, tailored blazers and other apparel including shirt dresses and kimono-shaped dresses. A Madonna favourite is a stylish trench-coat in cotton poplin or leather. The entire line is embellished with a small ‘M’ logo on linings, zippers and buttons. In addition the ‘M by Madonna’ look includes a complete line of accessories from sunglasses, party bags and clutches and even skinny leather belts.
